Lenten Prayer Circle #1

Dear Parishioners

Today, we invite you to pray for a mother, her family and a small centre that is changing lives.

In Zababdeh, Mum Sandra was facing a difficult reality. Her husband had lost his job, and her daughter needed specialised education that was not readily available locally. Employment was scarce, and support for children with additional needs was limited.

With support from Friends of the Holy Land, Sandra opened the Grace Centre, a dedicated space for children with special needs.

The centre offers personalised learning activities, therapeutic resources and patient guidance for children who often struggle in traditional classrooms. It also gives parents reassurance that their precious children are seen, valued and supported.

What began as one mother’s concern for her daughter has become a lifeline for other families in the community:

Sandra shares, “Launching this project has renewed my hope to remain in my hometown and strengthened my belief that I have a noble purpose to live for, in the land where I belong. I would like you to pray for my family and me, and the children who attend the Grace Centre. Please pray that those facing learning difficulties find strength and confidence, and that our centre remains a place of love and hope for every child in need.”

With thanks and every blessing,
